Discharge of a 2D magnetic silo

چکیده

We investigate experimentally the discharge of a 2D-silo, Hele-Shaw cell, filled with mono layer ferromagnetic grains submitted to an external magnetic field B perpendicular cell plane. In this case pair interactions are repulsive. show that granular flow rate decreases systematically amplitude applied. Interestingly, while output remains constant during experiment, we reveal very large spatio-temporal fluctuations packing density within particularly evident for high amplitudes.
